I'm in process of doing some post season maintance on my 13 SE and I'm considering have my shocks re-valved. I have been happy w/ pioneer in the past but was wondering what other members have done? I have a little over 3000 miles and overall I'm very happy with my Apex but would be interested in improving the performance on rough trails. Thanks for any input.

I have used Hygear to revalve the Mega and added their dual pressure resi's to the fronts.
I have not revalved the fronts. No experience with Pioneer.

I recommend the dual pressure resi's. They work as advertised...(likely even better with a revalve)

The performance of the Mega was improved with their revalve and addition of the "volume reducer" but I am looking for more from the skid...

I am contemplating going to an M-20 in this sled or picking up an XTX and adding the Star setup for next season.

I've used Monster Performance. Ian is great guy and has excellent customer service. He really takes the time to understand what you want and how you ride. His turn around time is amazingly quick. He received my shocks on Dec 23rd and called me on the 26th to say they were done and being shipped out that day.

Bruce at Pioneer is great. I just sent my mega to him to have it re-valved for a little softer ride. He knows what he's doing and will answer all your questions.

I have the same upgrades from hygear as soldierspapa
Megafloat revalve with volume spacer and improved bump stop.
I felt it was a big improvement over the stock setup.
I also added the dual pressure rez to the front floats and that was a big improvement.
You can set ride height independent of bottoming resistance which helps a lot in the big bumps and on the trails.
Ive used a few, carver. Pioneer, hygear. Nothing wrong with the others but.
I keep going back to hygear
