I am thinking about putting my Apex ski on a 98 XTC so I can try the Curves on the Apex.
Before I try this, can it be done, I believe the bolt heights are different. May be more hassle that it is worth but thought I would ask, I can't ride til December anyway!

the bolt height controls the amount of ski pressure...you will have way less weight on the ski therefore might have a little understeer? which can be controlled by more agressive carbide

i had a set of attak skis on an 01 sxr for awhile and did not notice anything odd about it at all. it actually corned quite well. the ski is very aggressive. i have the lower ski bolt mount on slp's on my attak and they corner much better being of a different shape. any plastic will be an improvemnt over the stock 98 skis.

obviously anything will be more aggressive than the stockers...and you will be happy if nothing else by way of comparison...
