Check for cracks around the welds and on the upper front cross bar where the limiter strap wraps around. The Cracks I had started around the welds from the bars that support the shock.

My grease zerks did not have the check valve in them (2006 skid) so I ground them off, welded on new flanges and put new ones on. To improve hyfax wear you can either put larger wheels on or go with the Pioneer kit that lowers your stock wheels. If the stock wheels don't have replaceable bearings I would go with the new, bigger wheels. Even if there are no cracks you should consider adding gussets like Half Baked coatings does.

Yes yes yes!!
Look over all the welds on both the arms .
the mono shock suspension is known to break as the miles add up and it is pushed hard or has a heavy rider.
I have the beef up kit installed on my suspension arms and have still broken it twice since it was beefed up.
Check all your wheels and make sure they spin free. If you hear any grinding or they feel rough when turning replace the bearings in the wheels.

welteracer on here sells a beef up kit for the mono suspension arms
You take off your arms. Ship them to him, he welds them up and welds on reinforcment plates in the areas that most often break. Then he powdercoats them any color you like and ships them back.
I think its like 250 bucks but its been a while and i cant be sure on the price
