Is it true that the 2011 speedo is considerably more accurate? If so, is it only a matter of changing the reader, the gear (splined wheel) or is it the entire guage that has to be retrofitted?
Thanks, gng

A lot of guys are cutting one tooth off of there existing gear, and it reads very close. Now if they would only add some recall features like peak RPM and MPH, it would make it much easier and safer to make the correct clutching changes. I,m not sure how a barometer output helps us to dial in our sleds.
The barometer is especially important with a turbo because a lot of sleds are using a boost gauge instead of an absolute pressure gauge. The barometer must be added to the boost pressure to know what the engine is running at.

Barometer is easy to add, since the system needs it for the fuel injection anyways..... it just adds the readout to the display.
