stretching my apex gt from 121 to 136 anybody that has done this or knows is there any set up tips as to the limiter strap position mine right now was on the the second set of holes should i drop it down for more transfer no sure what to do

I would let it be till you ride it. You are going to have a lot of hookup with more track on the ground. When I made my RTX into a 144" I left every thing alone till I rode it. And in the end I have left it the same way.

I'm in the middle of doing the exact same mod. As part of my stretch, I'm also swapping out my rear mounting brackets with brackets from an Attak. I was told by a few people here you'll screw up the ride quality without doing this. I needs to be done so that the suspension geometry stays properly balanced.

going thru a stretch as we speak... 136-144, with a 151 mountain tunnel, kits showed up a few nights ago, and will be removing old one this weekend.... this is going to be a fun build, well continuation...

I agree with Apex06 not to make changes until you try it out. Then as most would say, 1 thing at a time.

Hey Sherlock, what tunnel are you swapping the stock one out for?

Hey super!.. i went with hartman's kit... 144 rail extension but i wanted a 151 tunnel extension... Stock LTX/Attack's came with a 9 3/4" extension... my new one is 20 3/4"... a regular 144 kit has a 16 3/4"... i just wanted a wee bit more room for rack/fuel caddy.... the sled is tore down now, as i just put in a new front rad monday night(finished) next is to start drilling rivets out back!

Taking my Attack out to 144" moving the skid back and installing the hartman extension. Messing around with the quad and bike now. probably get started in july.
