I did the XTX skid swap on mine, and ran the front of my skid a little higher in the tunnel to be able to have my a-arms flat for better handling, but it also decreased the track angle, which so far I've had no problems in deeper snow with my Cobra track.
It might just be my opinion, but I swear the XTX skid and Cobra is faster top end. I can only guess that the tip up helps widen the arc the track travels during high speed operation, similar to running a larger rear wheel?
