I have a new to me bone stock 2013 Apex XTX and have added the Star linkage kit with their revalved oem shocks done to the skid.

Advice/feedback/experience on what is the best upgrade to the oem ski shocks? They are currently the oem stock non rezzy coil over models.

GYTR, Ohlins or aftermarket?

Fast trail riding, 210lbs geared up.

Thanks

I'm experimenting with gytrs this year, or I would have had hygear do their mods on my floats. I fooled with a set on a friend's sled last year (gytrs) and really got it to work well. Plus, hygear can mod them a little too, and you can get gytrs very reasonable.

I've run GYTR on my Attak and my 11 Apex XTX. From new. Pretty happy with them after a revalve's. Going to be trying Elkas this season.

Fox floats 2 on mine.

I tried the gytr's on mine and didn't care for them went back to stock for now.

Hit a bump yesterday kinda hard and now both my front shocks are leaking. Looks like red shock fluid. Sled only has 2400 miles on it and is a 11 Apex XTX with stock shocks. Anyone else experience this?

i know the stock valving was soft for my riding on my 11 xtx 1FastStang. i put gytr's on like viperdave and loved them as they quit stroking through and bottoming when i tail walk the sled down a hill.
