Apex XTX!! Project ACL Headache!!! Starting to come together

Haha I'm the king of losing money on sleds LOL Its a hobby not a investment, make it yours be proud of it, and ride the tar out of it, its what yammies do they run no matter what mods you put to it.

Then I'm the emperor of loosing money on sleds hahaha for what I've put into the turbo rx-1 I could have bougth 3 new sleds LOL

Put the sled together like you planned on in the first place and ride it :)

I just LOVE watching you guys spend money on sleds LOL. No seriously the quality of craftsmanship and the knowledge you guys display is worth every penny.

Oh yea it's your money,,,,,,,,, so I bet it feels different. My wife would kill me, but it still might be worth it

keep us informed.

We eagerly await more on this thread!!!!!!!!

Sled looks awesome so far..... I have an '07 Attak GT and I dearly wish it was a 144" or 151". Some day I'll do what u'r doing and pull the stock skid out and replace it, probably with a ZX2 extended to 151".

but that replacement tunnel is SWEET -- I love the white color!

Well - I am trying to get back on track, a few things have changed from the original plans! Some parts have come in: LakEffect Riser (SWEET), Micro Belmont drive shaft w/ 8T Wahl drivers, and a bunch on order!!

SWEET - I love that hood!

Did you get the light bar installed? What lights did you end up ordering Piaa or Hid lights?

TT - light bar is still on the shelf - it looks like I need to do some re-routing of a few items for it to work! I might consider using the stock bracket like you suggested. As far as the lights, I ended up ordering the HID's - should be in any day. I got them from Cyclops Motorsports, I think they are TrailTech lights!!

I need more parts - so much to do and running out of time!! Sold the M10 and have a ZX2 144 on the bench now - waiting to get my front end back on to do the ear skid install! I picked up a Shockwave helix for the secondary!!

Made a little progress this weekend -got the front end installed (thanks to Allen @ Ulmer Racing for the bushings for the Pioneer Wide Front)!! Also got the ZX2 installed - not sure about the ride height . . . .
