Re: covered?
Started backfiring around 6000 miles. It was probably getting louder before that, but nothing that made it overly noticeable for me to think anything was wrong. It was weird, cause when I got home from our trip and checked on TY about backfiring, many people were reporting it all of a sudden. I never saw mention of it before.
All 4-gaskets were supposed to be replaced on mine, as well as 1-Ypipe. But I'm guessing the other pipe was wore enough that it has cracked now as well. IMO, both should probably have been changed when it was apart a few weeks ago.
I've never had the chaincase leak yet with over 6500 miles on.
I'm guessing Larose Forest may be good for this weekend too, but you'll be limited to how far you can go with ditches and road crossings I think. I just got back Saturday from Shawinigan...a 3-hour drive to this!:

covered under the 3 year YES warranty???
Yes, it was for me. Going back down for the other side now.
How many "kms" did it start acting up, on my '08 I it started around 5000kms and had to get them done at 5500kms 2 left in very bad shape and the 2 right ones where starting to leak so got all 4 replaced and I also got my chaincase gasket replaced it was sucked in and leaking...so I still think that '08 have issues left to be revised.
But overall I love the sled, I've packed her in for the summer with 6200kms this year its 1 of the best so far! I was still running last saturday afternoon, I put on 180kms in and around the Larose Forest...
Now the season is over with all the RAIN and mild weather![]()
