Another FYI, I made the first offical complaint!!

I would bet the farm that you're complaint wasn't the first. I complained about 5 times regarding the hand warmers and each time they told me they hadn't heard of the problem before.

That's nice. You made an official complaint to Yamaha customer service? I hate it when people lie to save the company dough. I've been buying new Yamaha's since 1979...I think I'll call them again tommorrow!

Is it covered from the fact that they know about an issue, and they're going to stand behind it even if it's out of warranty? Or do you have Y.E.S?

Just an FYI, I just talked to Yamaha USA, to this date, there have been no documented problems by consumers about the Apex exhaust issue. Maybe everyone in the states should start calling and complaining! It's a start. Jim

You could complain a million times, then call, and they would say the same thing.. NO ONE IS COMPLAINING.. they are told to say that.. Been down that road before..

You have to just love it. It's not like we paid 100.00 for these sleds. I have another idea, which I'm sure will be laughed at. New 4 stroke sleds cost around $10, 000. 4 strokes should last longer and they don't cost 3000.00-4,000.00 like years ago. How about a little longer factory warranty? isn't it overdue?

Factory y pipes in stock

If anyone wants or need to stay stock, I have a few new factory y-pipes left in stock as well as a couple of used for just a little less $$. Hurry they are going fast I have sold over 14 pipes in the last 2 weeks! These have been on backorder for months and months

If anyone is waiting for these pipes to come in and is missing end of winters riding -- = get 03 /04 /05 RX1 pipes and add flang to end so it is 19 and 3 quarters in tolal length... OFF YOU GO !!!!!!

I would like to see how many apex exhaust issue that yamaha has repaired under warranty . You better beleive that theres a whole crap load of apex out there who are unknowingly riding with exhaust issue. 3 model years with exact flawed exhaust design, mileage pilling on each one. Hhhhmm i wonder why the parts are back ordered.

The same reason FX nitro front frames are not avl.--- they will not sent out because bad !!!!!
