Got out today with my some of my buddys today. They rode a 600rev sdi and a new machzx. The trails were very rough with 1 to 2 ft moguls everywhere and an ocasional 3ft or better bump thrown in. My gt has the fat boy spring.I weigh 230 dry.I also tried the shim trick to relieve some darting issues I had.( The trick worked, it was like it had power steering all day.)The sled performed excellent. It was only a little out of shape on the biggest bumps. It definately rode and took the bumps better than the machzx. His front end seemed to bottom out on the 2 to 3 footers along with the rear skid.We tried to adjust, but it didn't help much. I would say my gt also performed as well as the 600 rev on the 1 to 2 footers. Only when the going got really rough the 600 would shine. Not bad for a pretty heavy sled.My buddy with the mach is really pissed now.Mine beats his in a drag race and also rides and takes the bumps better than his.He has been eyeing the rtx lately and it wouldn't suprise me if he cans the mach.Good thing he has more money than brains.

Why is that that so many have more money than brains?? LOL!! Nice to hear the report!!

Explain the shim trick. What are we using for a shim and where are we installing it and what holds it in?
