My sled has been sitting for a while, I was just looking over the clutches and found the rollers have alot of surface rust on them, they all still roll good and smooth but will the rust clean off with regular riding or do I need to replace them??
This pic is one of the worst spots, the entire roller is not like this just spots..

Just remove em & run a green scothchbrite pad over the surface. They clean up well.

rollers
like turk said, you must leave outside or in a trailer to have rust like
that, if in trailer make sure you have air moving around.

rust
I usually spray everything wit WD40 when I put it away. I do the same thing with the wheels, and under the hood of my Corvette.

Re: rollers
I keep everything I own in a heated garage and keep everything clean and well maintained. I bought this sled from a guy who let it set for the last year and a half. He told me it was kept in a shed and covered up but Im not sure it was, I think it may have spent some time outside. Im now trying to get everything back in perfect condition, once it gets there, it will stay that way as long as I own it...
