Asphalt Results 2005

Got the Days Inn in Nisswa booked, about 10 minutes from the track and it has a pool. It was a bit cheaper (62.00us I think) than AmericanInn but a little outside the beaten path. The site says it's all booked up, but I called directly and reserved some rooms and they still had some last week. Anyway here is the info. See ya there Terry.

Have a room with 2 double beds, non-smoking booked at your Days Inn.

Anybody going, and want to split a room?

Terry, Mr. Sled won't be accompanying you? Did he dump you? We’ve booked two rooms, my buddy may be willing to split, I'm taking my kid and the girlfriend, (they don't want to miss this, they should have been there last year!). He's maybe taking one of his kids, but don't cancel your room, you could always do that the week of the event. I'll mention it to him and let you know.

Tom has something going that weekend, and will not make it.

I will jump from bed to bed, if no one joins me.

Hang on, Sara, (bunny), just called me and she will stay with me..................

Ya, right.

I have Ryan (pro116) and his buddy coming with me to Brainerd. We will be leaving Friday morning, and should arrive around 4"ish.

Ran at Kaukauna Friday 10-7-05 at the Real Street Drags. Temp went down to just under 40°, with a lot of moisture. There were so many cars, I bet it beat the record by 50+! It took Tom over an hour just to get in the pit gate!

Lots of broken parts, and spills on the track. 1 time run I ran in lane 1 with the SRX, and had to shut down after the 330 mark cause I went sideways. I told the timeslip booth guy to call the officials before my friend Ken came down lane 1 with his 9 flat sled.........TOO LATE! Ken did the same dance I did, and then they finally got the crew out on the track. It was a major cluster $%^&*!

Had the SRX hook up once, and it was-a-haulin!!!
No time slip as Tom and I went off of the flag.

Figures

The last race in Kauakauna had terribale traction.I never spin.
My best run spinning was
60ft:1.50
1/8:6.83
mph:96.50
1/4:11.10
mph:111.51
If the traction was there I would of been around 11.02.I am racing once more as nos pro posted above.I have some things I want to try yet this year but running out of time.

Actually joined the site back in 2003 when a friend's father-in-law bought an RX1. I've been watching Terry and you on here for what seems like an eternity... just normally don't post. Believe it or not, this year on asphalt was the very first time I had swung a leg over an RX1! I'm sure you'll see me on an Apex some time in the very near future. As mentioned, great meeting you guys... definitely see you next year.

PS
Keep up the good work on this site... and good luck on a 9 sec pass!

700Canuk - You did very well at ESTA this year, and expect to see you there again next year.

Wish there was a Yamaha in the winner circle for both classes, but we made one he// of a showing there.

Great seeing you this year.

Another rainout today and that's the end of my season. Thanks everyone for your help this year.....Mike, Terry, Allen, Tyler, Mark, Aaron, and everyone else. I had a blast. Can't wait for some riding this winter and then another season on the tar.

Corey

Last race on the tar is this weekend at Brainerd. Got 3-4 Yamis from the site going, so hopefully we put 1 in the winners circle.
