I took all the bolts out of the cover and have been prying the case to get off. I have 3/4 loose but is staying tight at top. I beleive it is the bearing sticking to the shaft and not sliding off. Anyone had this issue before.

You need to remove the metal collar from the jack shaft. There is a small set screw on the side of the collar you need to loosen first. Once you have done this the collar should slide off providing its not seized.

Did you get the 10 mil bolt out?It is in the end of the reverse gear shaft.

I removed mine without taking off the collar, but I did forget the 10 mil bolt, removed it and case came right off.

I noticed mine was sticky on the shaft too...
All the bolts were out and the collar was off, the berring seemed to still be tight on the shaft. Clean any rust/buildup on the shaft outside of the berring and it helps if you remove the little rubber o-ring on the shaft.
Good luck!

Did you loosen your track to give yourself more play at the driveshaft?

Does the bearing on top slide offf with the chaincase cover or does it stay on shaft

The top bearing stays with the cover.
Marq stated to loosen the track I would that would be useless if there was any problem with the cover and the case it self will hold shafts in place the track would only help being loosened when removing whole case.

Might try removing the linkage that works the reverse. Not the top bolt but the bottom one more near the footwell.
That may help a bit - Other than that, it should pop right off of there.
