Anyone with tips on how to brace/beef up the headlight bracket to prevent flexing when travelling. The piece that has the tabs is very flimsy and I think a mod to this would help. My side pieces by the bolts have cracked twice (now has aluminum reinforcement) and the headlights point further up in the sky the faster you go. I was looking to get a taller windshield for long trips however this would make the flexing worse.

I see the pics...but what exactly was done to strengthen the headlight bracket? Materials? Screws?

I used a 3/8"x 1 1/2" piece of aluminum (can't remember the length) and 4 10-24 X2" allen head bolts. When installed , it keeps the headlight from rocking backwards. Push on your windshield and see how much it moves. This brace reduces, but doesn't eliminate that motion. I just used some odds and ends I picked up at work.
