Attak rear rack

Has anyone heard of a rear rack for the Attak. I don't know why Yamaha does not make a rear rack for this machine. They could have designed the rear much like the Apex mountain, except on a smaller scale. This would include the same rear exhaust with the turned out tips. Having no rear rack is a nuisance! Help!

Someone once told me that the rear carrier from a Firecat would fit. I thought about doing this mod but didn't know about the integrity of the rear of the tunnel (without reinforcements).

Attak with CrossFire Rack with Turned out Chrome tips
Canadian Tire cut to suite and a Hartman 144" Extension Kit.

Phaser with Chrome Tip and Blade Rack

RX1 with MountainCat Rack and i did put on the Chrome
tips but can't find a later picture.

No problems with a 2 or 3 gal gas can on either machine.

I made one for my attak, but haven't decided if I like it or not... Perhaps, I need to polish it, and drill it out to give it that cool look... I'll post photos once the sled comes out of storage....


I made it out of 2" angle alum I think... I still need to get the chrome turn outs though.. where can I get them?

I would be affaid to carry gas on a rack with the exhaust close by.Last year a guy I know had his saddle bags catch fire.

I do like the look, any extra space to carry things is a big plus
