I just got an 07 Attak. My dealer did nothing in terms of setting machine up for me personally. He didnt ask any questions about weight, riding style, etc.

What do I need to get sled ready? I am not too mechanically inclined.

Thanks

well if your over 200 pounds take the shock out and take it to a dealer and have them put it in the 3rd clip.i personally would take it out anyway and have them put it on the 2nd if your under 200. get some good shaper bars studboy duece dooly's or bergstroms shaper bars.dont even ride with the stock ones they suck. take some preload out of your front shocks back off on the transfer bar remember you got the 136 it still will hook up if you back off a little on it.this is similiar to my setup i ride hard so you might like it you might not.last but not least take the panels off when your sled when not busy just in case you need to do it on the trail that way you know how to take them off.keep doing it untill you can do it with your eyes closed. other than that tg good luck and your gonna love that sled.agian try to get to know your sled etc taking your panels off headlight pod air box. not saying you will ever have a problem but it is a good idea to know what can do out on the trail if it were to happen agian goodluck

Should be the hood pannel and the headlight pod. I always remove the side pannels just so I not bumping in to them while working. I have not had to open the front of the sled for any reason other then to get my Float pump out from the front bag or check my belt temp. Which by the way was nice and cool after a 2 mile WFO run. Every one else in the group blew a belt, thats why I checked mine. The sleds that blew were all other brands no other Apex's.

yes zip, then take the bolt off the coil and kinda turn and pull up and then a looooong wrench to the plugs .gonna have to take off resevior coolant to get to one of the plugs not that bad though
