24K miles
I would use a good HD relay, run the main power off of the battery (with inline fuse) to the lights and run the "ignitor/trigger" lead from the relay to the auxiliary wire on the switch. When the sled is on the lights will be on.
OR
Run the power off the battery to a dash mounted switch to the lights. Just don't forget to turn them off.
OR
If you do the first option above just put a switch in the relay trigger wire.

ok so thanks for the input I'm going to wire to the battery with a inline fuse and then to a push button switch seems like the easiest and most simple.
With a 4 blade relay pull power from the battery, at the ign switch one of the wires wil power up when the ign is on, run he ground wire for the relay thru a switch that you can easily reach.
This will give you DRL when the ign is on and the switch is on. You could also put in a 3 position on/off/on switch and turn the lights on with the sled off. This can be useful at night while changing a belt.
