Hi I'm trying to get an Avatar picture shrunk down to the limit of this site but I don't know how to do it? When I download one from My Pictures it keeps saying it's too big. Any help out there? thanks, Doug

you need some basic photo editing software that comes with most digital cameras..... usually includes a 'resize' editing feature that allows you to reduce it to the max # of pixels and/or file size....Do you have something like that available?
If not, you can email it to me and I'll do it for you.... rmarkporter@yahoo.ca
In any event, you might want to find something that will allow resizing, if you have any interest in posting pics on TY in the future.

www.irfanview.com is the one I use, it is a simple free download.
click on image on the toolbar, then resize, go for 165X165 or as close as you can get and then file, save as, then you are done.
If you have any probs, or you are not comfortable with the task, post it up here, I'll resize it and post it back up
