Jared: Thank you for engaging! I just bought the first new snowmobiles of my 60 year old life. Within the last 3 years. I now have a bad taste in my mouth. I bought these wonderful Vectors. The first because my Wife has MS. I wanted the power steering to help her last longer on the trails. Thank you for your innovation that worked. However I am extremely disappointed in the Singleshot rear shock. I do know that Yamaha updated the shock. But I am extremely disappointed inYamahas attitude. Even though I purchased Yamahas 5 year extended warranties for both these machines. YES in my opinion should should be named NO! I was told that they only offered the updated shock to Apex buyers. Your company needs an attitude adjustment. I am an independent Manufacturer Service and Training Representitive. We would never get away with this attitude! I know this is a very small market segment. But I do live on a lake. And Yamaha thinks I should buy a Yamaha Waverunner after This? Or a A Yamaha Outboard? Your feedback is appreciated. Sorry for the ranting. I should have done my homework I guess. Cat does have better suspensions. Wish I had spent $5.000 more and bought the Sidewinder for myself. Love the 4Stroke. I am a former ASE Master Auto Technician and Ford Master Transmission and Powerstroke Technician. I also rode a Yamaha RD 350 and 79 YZ 350 in my younger years. I even bought a brand new 1975 DT400 off the showroom floor. So I do have some loyalty to the brand.
