Axe? Are you a lumberjack?
If the business end fits the trunk and the handle sticks straight out the back?
Fabricate a bracket that holds it tight to the side of the tunnel?

I have a small Fiskars axe that I carry in the saddle bag on my Nytro but I was going to put an axe mate on the belt guard. Actually the small Fiskar might fit in the trunk??

I think an axe is one of those things that you should always carry.
I probably carry more gear than most, but you have to be prepared for anything.

I use an AXE-MATE, attached to the tunnel. You can get them at any hardware store.

Thanks for the replies guys, yeah an axe is a must for me should be on every sled no groomed trails here so we break our own roads every year worth its weight in gold at times,

Use an axe mate / similar but we add a small piece of bungee cord that loops back over the axe head to make sure that it doesn't pop out ...
An axe is a must for off trail / non groomed riding out this way.
