I heard rumor that problems of Nytro front end are related to ball joint lenght. Those are about 2.5mm (0.1 inch) too long.

Does somebody know more about this?

Also wrong quess from You. Okay I should explain more.

I mean problems with steering. Sled just don't go straight etc

Here distributors have received mail from importer. Says something like "This sled has been done for race/hard drive. To make it more suitable for trail use, upper ball joint should be changed to shorter ones. More information will be send later".
So they don't say anything if it will be recall or if this will be accessory.
In forum one person wrote that he did this modification using lathe and looks like this modification works. This has been very moderate test and looks like nobody has yet experience in real conditions.

It's the lower ball joints that are sloppy - not the uppers. Yamaha told my dealer that they do get sloppy, but they are with "Industry Standards".

that's pathetic. I wonder if these guys would accept this with their own personal cars etc.

Who said the upper ball joints are sloppy? When you shorten UPPER ball joint (abt 3 mm) it change camber and that helps reduce darting etc.

I think this is a great idea.......I was thinking about doing this a few weeks back.

Nytro has noticibly less camber than most other sleds.......BRP gives you a washer to adjust, ours would need machining, I just never new how much.

has anyone dont this already......?

I heard that importer here in Finland has given so called "Racing tip" which helps the customer to find different and better driving features. That isn't a so called recall nor a serviceinfo.
