Nope...good friends with them. Lee likes feed back and I'm on here a lot, so I keep him update. Is there a problem with that Mike? I was just pointing out another option for the OP, I didn't realize there were problems the system as I've never read anything negative about it.

Did you happen to read "ATV PRO #11" post?
Not very positive, maybe you could pass that on to Lee.

Hey guys, I prolly shouldn't have responded with a long winded post. I can totally appreciate shadows loyalty to a product. Prolly been well taken care of. Had I posted pictures I would have taken up a ton of room and prolly hijacked OP's thread even more. Experience has truely been negative but I'm sure rare. I haven't offered feedback "by posting" as its not in my nature to be negative and mostly post about it. Lapse of good judgment on my part.
As for fully tuned, I would have to say to OP whatever pipe you go with "plan for a controller of some sort". Here in Canada 4-700 bucks plus shipping. Also plan for clutching.
Also IMHO, utilizing stock header isn't a bad thing. They have much better design and have more sturdy attachment points.
One thing I would reccomend is for the slip on to utilize the stock mounting hardware and attachment points. Expesially the muffler.
Phazers are unique because of their length and configuration. Also that hole in front of skid continually "cold shock" the system and I don't think springs like going from red hot to ice cold so some sort of clamp on the header to muffler joint would be a solid choice. Have one on my race quad since 07 with aftermarket system and never loosened, leaked, moved around nor broke a spring.
Goal here is longevity and reliability. Break two springs out on the trail and ur header system would slip right right off. 5200kms on mine since purchase last year, I take my reliability very serious. Nothing worse than being in the garage during our very very short season.

Has anyone installed the barker slip on exhaust? Is it worth it? Is there a noticable difference off the trail? Is there anything else that needs to go long with it?
Put it this way. The only brand I have heard of that has not had premature packing blow outs or other problems would be Schmidt Bros, and the now extinct Excell muffler. I have to repack my Aaen every season. If you want a bit of HP, nicer sound and to shed a bit of weight, go with Schmidt. Similar to Aaen, the Barker appears to have a small muffler body, and guaranteed you will not get much life out of the packing. Sure the nice sound and weight loss is there, but it wont last.
In hindsight I would not have used Aaen. Schmidt looks much nicer and has more muffler body, still much lighter than the lead brick of a stock muffler.
