I am a new guy here. I have a 2022 RS venture. I was trying to put a battery maintainer on it but it’s more work than I wanna deal with with tearing everything off. Is it OK to just hook the maintainer on the two leads that come from the factory for jumping a dead battery?

yes as those cables go directly to battery.
i hope you mean 2012 as rs venture did not come into production until around 05 if my memory is correct.
