So the stock battery took a s***. Got a new one from wal-fart (es14bs). Terminals were backwards, figured that out after i installed it and the main 40A fuse blew. I got a new fuse but didnt install it yet. My question is has anyone else done this and if so is there any other potential problems I can expect other than the green 40A fuse?

Replace that fuse and install the right leads in the right spot. Should be fine. I seen people do this with car and motocycle batteries without causing any marjor problems. But you never know, hook it up right and give it a try, cant hurt anything

You mean that you installed the battery in backwards? Should be ok with a new fuse and there's only one way to find out. Good luck!!

I would think you should be fine the fuse did its job which was blowing because of to much fault current.
