Well I need a new battery and figured I would put a list together for the next person who is shopping. The prices are in CAD, and yes there are other options available, and some might need some work to make fit properly.
Stock Battery
YTX 14-BS-->200CCA
6"x3 7/16"x5 3/4
$59.99
Bigger Batteries!!!
YTZ14-S-->230CCA
6"x3 7/16"x4 3/8"
$120USD was the best I could find on this one
YTX16-BS--> 230CCA
6"x3 7/16"x6 3/8"
$61.99
YTX20-BS-->270CCA
6 7/8"x3 7/16"x6 1/8"
$77.99
YTX20H-BS-->310CCA
6 7/8"x3 7/16"x6 1/8"
$112.99
There was also a battery a member used on here that I couldnt find in Canada. Its was ETX16 with 325CCA. 6 7/8"x4"x6 1/8"
I think I am going to go with the YTX20H-BS. Its the same size and the YTX20-BS but offers 40 more CCA, its tough to decide if I want to pay $1 per cca. The H-BS is the top of the line Yuasa so it might get me longer life too.
Hopefully this helps someone out one day

I run a shorai LFX18A1-BS12 in my phazer,..it has 270CCA...its 5.8"x2.6"x4.1" and here is the kicker, it weighs 2lbs.. yes 2lbs!!!!!!! i have lost 35lbs total off my sled by changing out some of the heavier OEM stuff. it did cost $160usd but the expected life of the battery is 8-10 years and i have had it for 3years and have never put a charger on it..

now you have me thinking. $186 plus shipping and taxes to get it here though.

Tony,
where'd you get it from?
I might be needing one, thinking the original '07 is still in it.
Anyone using a battery tender as well? Looking to go that route too.
35# off the sled huh? Did you take a real massive shite?

I use a battery tender on what ever isnt in use during each season. Bikes, lawnmower, ATV.
I think for this sled I might put a set of leads on when I get a new battery and hook the tender up when I wont be using the sled for a bit, since its going to be out in the cold

I have been using oddessy batteries but I am going to try one of these next time I need one but that may be awhile. Lithium is great for lightweight just wonder if they can take the abuse like an AGM will.

A "good price" is FREE
I'll let ya' know on it. I'm getting the sleds out of storage @ the end of the month when my leased space runs out.
Gonna get a different windshield as well, had some custom brackets made for the lower aftermarket style- powdercoating after some test fits + saved like $80

'shield just looks better on there. The younger kids can run around with 'em off, us old guys need it to keep somewhat warmer :~)

I'm looking at the shorai battery for my RX-1. My only concern is their performance in extreme cold (-20F etc) . ever have any issues?

No issues, but it doesnt get below zero very often here...we are usually seeing temps in the mid 20's for most of the winter..

-20, my #*$&@ is sitting in the recliner having a brew and watchin' TV
Been out and it's dipped to -8 before I got home, even with the warmers on thought my fingers were just gonna stay in the curled position for a few days (had an accident involving burning my hands so they get REAL sensitive to cold quickly).
