What width did you go with on your EZ RYDE? I looked at their site and 15" was as narrow as they show. Did you have to custom order it, or did you mod it?

This thing is awesome! What turbo are you running? I can't seem to find much on the boondocker kit. Are they discontinued?

You can tig with the tungsten electrode with aluminum rod. they make aluminum wire for mig, but you need a pulling driver gun for the aluminum to feed properly.
Super clean install. Very impressed with your tunnel fab (the heat exchangers and boards must've taken some time to do). How are the boards holding up with that much material removed?
How did you route the exhaust from the exhaust ports? Got any pics?
Where did you relocate the oil tank? Those heat exhchangers in the tunnel makes me wonder whether it would be possible to fab an oil cooler.
Do you have any close-up shots of the intercooler (just curious about how it all goes together)?
Really Nice work man ... Wanna build one for me?

I think we need to put out a missing persons report on this guy. He has not responded to anyone.
I would really like to talk with him anout the tunnel mod and the EZ-Ryde. I would also like to talk to him about his clutch set up.

Sorry all, I changed my email a while back and didn't think to change it in my profile so I wasn't getting notifications of posts to this thread. I know there is still interest in the Turbo Phazer and I'm in the process of rebuilding my website so the photos should be accessible again. I still have the turbo, but I've been riding the 2011 Pro-RMK the last two years and snow checked a 2013 for next year. The turbo is fun and different, but it is really hard to beat a 417lb machine.

To answer a few questions:
Skid: Yep, it is an EzRyde skid designed for a 155" Polaris IQ, which is 15.25" wide as I recall. Fits no problem. The restriction of the track width is not the tunnel, it's the bulkhead.
BD Kit: Kits have been discontinued, you can get the Tune Box from BD. Turbo is a Garret 2052 plain bearing turbo.
Boards: They have held up very good. Note that I am not running coolant in the running board edge material. No clean way to plumb and the 24" cooler in the center of the tunnel proved to be more than enough.
Oil Tank: A new oil tank was provided with the BD kit. You can see it in the photos in the nose under the intercooler.
Exhaust: This is the biggest problem with the front mount turbo on the Phazer. The exhaust manifold fit is extremely tight and heat shielding is difficult. I have it wrapped in header tape and everything anywhere close has self stick heat shielding.

Seems like all the phazer turbo kits are gone....... I heard rumors of lots of bad luck turbo-ing a phazer....
I wrode one once and it was fun, wish I could find a left over MCXpress turbo for my wife's phazer.
