I agree as well, and I will show my young son (who will start riding with me next year on his own sled) that these things are not toys and command respect.
Along with a Tether, I also think the vid shows how important wearing a Tek Vest is as well.

I too showed my son (17) and told him that ANY THING can happen. To becareful and respect the machine. After he saw the video. the main question he asked me. "Why do all the Ski Doo's throttles seem to stick?" He was watching the X Games and a few of those sleds had stuck throttles. Then he said "Well all we have is Yamaha and so we don't have to worry about that." I replyed true. But you still need to be aware and not take every thing for granted. It still could happen to ours. There is alot to learn from that vid. I believe seeing stuff like that sticks with people better. Verses people on here telling you. Like they say "Seeing is believing"
