Its a secret
Found 3-4 small steel "balls" (less than 1/4" diameter) on my garage floor...can't for the life of me figure out where they came from. Does the RX1 use any bearings that might contain these? I've looked it over, and it runs fine. Thoughts

bearing

The boogie wheels bearing are about that size but they enclosed.
Jackshaft bearing the same also. The only place to check is the chain case side. Two bearing on the chaincase side only have seals on one side the seal is facing the inside of the chaincase. the open side is where the jackshaft and driveshaft go through.
Check both shafts by trying to lift the shafts and spin them over by hand to see if they turn smooth. If you think anything is wrong you will probalby have to pull the chain case off and check.
Rare but something to check.
thanks

bearing

True Blue jackshaft bearing and main shaft (speedo)bearing on secondary side or PTO side are sealed I believe.
The only ones I know that are sealed only on One side of the bearing are the ones pressed into the chaincase.

I do that all the time. I carry misc. screws, bolts, nuts, and ball bearings. I place them on the floor under my friends sleds, or other toys., then I wait for them to make a post, trying to figure out were they came from.

I just noticed all 6 of my "bogie wheels" on the suspension are busted up and are shot in 2000 miles. Must be from the studs. Still went almost 120 on the gun!
