I'm new to Yamaha clutching and am unsure how high my belt should sit in my secondary
On my doo's i always set it so the top cogs would be above the sheaves but don't think i could get my viper that way
Any ideas??

You just want the track to creep when up on stand. Mine is a bit above the sheave. It is set by removing secondary and you will see three screws with washers under them. The thickness of washer determines your belt height. Less= lower If I remember right.

There are 2 shim sizes .5mm and 1mm you want the belt .5 -1mm above the secondary. There are 3 screws and the shims have to be all the same on all 3.
