I just had my 07 Attak GT in for it's first major service after the break-in (the service ran $300 Cdn - dealer said it was basically a PDI). After I got it back, took it out on the trails for a 2hr ride. Noticed twice that starting from a complete stop the RPMs would hit about 6000 before the track would engage followed by the smell of burning rubber, all the other times it was fine. In the first 800 KM, never had this happen before.
If this is the belt slipping - why would it be happening now after the dealer serviced it? Should I just use acetone and a mild scrub pad on the clutches?
