Thank you,the sheeves are the same degrees per each side, the direction does not matter at all,on any belt on any sled, the width of the belt is the same for the total circumferance, only thing that really matters,is center distance, and clutch offset. If you like the direction arrow or writing, thats fine keep installing it that way,but you have gained nothing!!darv said:it does't matter which way you run the belt the reason is so you run the same way because it will break in that way if you turn them around they say they will not last as long. it is like when they came out with radial tires they said that the belts would separate.

Makes sense ty. And there are direction arrows on my belt.
So just for clear mind, stretching the belt to get it on and off dosent permenetly stretch it?

mnmsnowbeast said:No,it dont really matter, which direction it goes on at,it measures the same on either side, right! And it dont stretch it any more differantly than if you had it on with words facing toward you,if it was a problem, the manufacturer would have a direction arrow on belt like they do your track.granto211 said:Thesebelts r a bear to get on and off, woundering if it stretches them??
There is a direction arrow on the belt. Not sure if it is an old wives tale but i have always been led to believe that you should always run it so that you can read the words. That ensures that you always run it the same way.

yes that's why the writing is there so you put the belt on the same way all the time.
