Does any one out there have, and have tried to new Bender suspension that is like the mono-shock suspension. I seen it at the Novi show and would like to get some feed back on how well they work from someone with some seat time on one. I have an 03 RX-1 er and am thinking about up-grading the suspension with it. Thanks for any imput you can offer.

I was impressed with what I seen at the show, but I am going to wait until their are some riding reports before I move on it. They did a great job with the finish on it.

I ordered my Bender kit as soon as I get it and get it installed I will try and drop a note in here so we can all see but it is so similar to the monoshock I cant see why it wouldnt be a great suspension. I have tried buying an 05 or 06 suspension from the boards but people want more than what I can get a Bender for

Well, I pulled the trigger on this yesterday.

Supposedly they are shipping the short tracks next week. I've got a Warrior, so expecting this sometime after Christmas, they haven't had nearly as many long tracks ordered.

Other interesting one is that they will have an upgrade shock (also Penske) available in the New Year. If I don't like the existing shock (single toolless adjustment for both rebound and preload like on the '05 RX1), they will trade in against the upgrade, with separate preload, rebound, compression and a piggyback. At a cost of course...

Should be interesting to see how this goes.

Also backing off on the 13mm swaybar, ordered a 12 mm to see how it goes. The 13 is just a bit too stiff on rough trails, took away a lot of the compliance that the Ohlins shocks gave.

Still have not received mine. Bneder told me last Friday the shocks are in and they are fabricating but the entire staff was at the Sno-goer shootout in NY last week so they should be shipping units late this week and be cought up with them around Christmas.

I hope so I want this sled back together and off to get clutched before the seasons over.

I didn't order one, but if I had, I would be pissed at Bender. They should not advertise an item and take orders until the product is ready to ship. I read stuff like this and will now shy away from Bender parts. Too many other suppliers out there for this kind of service to be tolerated. JMO.

Really, What about Boss Seats and so on. It does suck, but sometimes that stuff happens. Ever order something from Yamaha. I have waited months for parts sometimes.

This build to order thing is spreading fast :ORC And then all of a sudden orders starts building .... fast.... and we have not been manufacturing anything lately. Everyone thinks they can duplicate Mr. Dell of Dell Computers, at least Dell is able to deliver in a few days after order is registered.

Its all based on overhead. With the cost of raw materials these days it just does not pay to have items sitting on the shelf. I own my own business, and trust me, I do not stock any where near the product I used to.

yes but if you go to shows and build up the hype wouldnt you thinkyou would have at least one built!!!!!! in the catalog the susp. is not even finished. lets face it they didnt even have shocks for it.

I'm not sticking up for Bender at this point, but remember, they don't make the shocks or springs, or hardware. I'm sure they contraced with individual suppliers. Maybe they could not deliver what they were supposed to to Bender. Just a thought.
