Don't know how I did it. Never noticed anything different. Then I can tell the difference between one click on my shocks either. I had a ball the last two days. Only put 190 miles on but it was sure fun. I can say there is less snow build up in the tunnel than the other sleds I was with that had rads under the running boards or under the tunnel. Crossfire 1000, Dragon 600, Mach 1000 all had more ice build up under the conditions I was in today. The rack of ribs and chocolait cake at Adairs Wilderness Lodge were excellent. I feel guilty coming home...
The trails are not groomed yet. Sled handles junk with ease compared to the others. I was way ahead and were all about the same ability. I'm 10 years older than the next oldest in the group today. When the trails are big and wide the others are always right there. Where the snow was deep and drifted I just drove away. I don't know if I bent my A arm today or yesterday. This morning I took off the Whal Broths wheels as I bent then yesterday. I was going off jumps in this field and I bottomed a couple times. Today I bottomed a couple times on the front but the back as good. Going down hill off jumps was a blast. Lots of power to lift the front up a couple feet on launches. I don't feel tired like I would have driving the Apex. I'm sore and eating everything in the house... I can't believe my front end is all bent. I never went off the trail and I was just driving normally...

I'd bet this damage happened when you bottomed the front suspension. It looks to me the chassis continued downward after the shock stopped. In the future, crank up the preload on your shock springs.

My a-arm did the same thing,, the tie-rod was OK.. I hit a rock that day and did alittle jumping didnt notice until the next day...

this whole topic sux I did the same thing both a arms it the lower A arm is 225 i think and the uper 195 I belive just had mine done. If you have a dealer do it emphasize them chekin the subframe so you dont have to wait another week later than what told yo u buy the dealer.

Same thing happened to me too, I hit a steel pipe on the side of my ski pretty hard. bent the lower a-arm, but everything else looks o.k. I'm new to the yami-xtx, how do you know the subframe is bent?

You'll know that your sub-frame is bent by the whooshing sound of $1000 leaving your bank account.

I could tell mine was by the slight twist of the front bumper relative to the body panels. The best thing to do is pull off the front plastic and look at the suspension mounts and the steering joint. I could see that cross-members were askew from the rest of the framework with the panels off.

well if u try to put ur sled together you will noticve when you try to bolt on ur new a arms they wontline up with the subframe check ur welds as well check for rust and crack welds

Thanks guys, the new a-arm will be tomorrow, so if it doesn't fit right, I know it'll be bent, the bumper looks square with the hood and such, so hopefully it's just the lower a-arm... Thanks guys.
