Bent Spindle

Well at least you have snow to ride on. This has been a lousy winter in New Hampshire this year. Mostly rain.

I spoke with Peter, it's an easy fix. You need a M10 100mm bolt with 1.25 thread preferably 10.9 grade and a 15 mm spacer to go in the web. Fastenal part # for the bolt is 11113978, this is where Peter is sourcing them. I'm thinking even a stack of washers would work for a spacer as long as the stack measures 15 mm, washer tolerances aren't exact so out of a box you could probably make a stack 15mm thick pretty easy.

Correct. Those are the specs for the 09 and up spindle. If you want to update the 8GL spindle (2008 short tracks) you will need a spacer 18.7mm thick with a bolt that is at least 105mm long.

When setting the front suspension up with your kit, caster camber , should we be putting simulated weight on the sled ? I didn't see that in the directions. Just wondering because I am getting ready to go over my sled . PS. I put about 110 miles on the kit what a dream machine now :sled2:

Thank you to Peter at Mountaintech. I already have my updated hardware! Awesome job!
