Think I bent my right lower one this weekend.....local dealer, where I bought the sled from, says retail $235.99 and won't give a discount....I can get it for $200.54 from Prosource out of illinois, with free shipping.

Anyone know of a better deal?

Hard to really see where it's bent, but it looks a little askew right at the rear mount where it attaches to the frame. There is definitely something tweaked, it's noticeable. The right spindle is much much more vertical than the left, and it puts more downward ski tip pressure than it should. I at first thought the left one might have been pulled forward (using bunje's when I got stuck) but the shock on the right one is a lot closer to the rear portion of the upper A-arm and the left shock looks perfectly centered. Hence, I think the rock I hit this weekend did the damage and moved the right ski backward a bit, bending the right A-arm.

Did that make any sense?! LOL

Double check your Front Frame Comp (the box that holds the front suspenion) I did the same as you, but bent the Comp as well and they are on backorder from Japan and should get here at the end of the month.

Ditto what Tookes said. I totaled a phazer last year, and thought the A-arms were bent, but it was actually the front tubular frame. I know this is not the same as the Nytro, but I would still check there first, before buying A-Arms.

I told myself when and if I break/bent the front suspension I would replace it with Timbersled's stuff. Hi quality, looks great. performs better and its lighter.

It might be more than you wanted to spent, but its an option for you.

Yeah, I looked that over pretty good, couldn't see ANY sign of distortion or bending. Where the rear mount on the A arm connects to the frame, the A arm looks crooked when compared to the left side, and when compared to the frame. Hopefully that's all I did....we'll see. Everything else looks ok.....

Sure will hate it if I have to spend $400+ to get this back to new condition after bouncing off a rock. But, like I've said, these things aren't designed to hit rocks.....

Butta, you will know for sure when you put the new one in and the spindle looks vertical just like the bent one did. Good Luck.

hey tookes

wondering when you ordered your subframe and if you have any confirmed delivery date. I ordered one just after new years but no one could tell me when it would be in.

Yeah, time will tell. Hopefully it's just the A arm, but it would not surprise me if you were right....
