Just bought my first Sidewinder yesterday, It has a BMP BOV, trail muffler, intake, and tune on it. I have all the original parts, however I dont have the tunes or software to load them, but I have the ecu connection cable, I would really like to return the sled to stock before I ride it, especially for the stock exhaust as I prefer quiet, and then change things for myself as I want, but without having the files, what are my options (if any) for returning the ECU to stock programming? short of buying a new one

Call bikeman. They will probably have the files.

Sell everything and get a td or hurricane tune.

Agree. TD or Hurricane stock muffler tune will provide trouble free smiles!

Ran a bikeman tune on my 18 thundercat no problem what so ever, tons of torque feeling it gave.

got ahold of bikeman and the only thing they could do is have me send in my ECU and they would flash it back to stock for $400.... so I guess its a new ECM then since its not much more..
If I wanted a different tune package (TD, Hurricane) would I need a non-tuned ECM first or would it overwrite?

It should overwrite the tune in there.

That seems like a rip off. Hurricane will send you a stock tune back if you want if you purchased one of their tunes. Done it twice.
