Max spool sorry. Muffler got hot when making long pulls.
Probably going sm since I came to a provincial police check and all most got sled towed and ticketed. No decibel test. Any mod and your toast in QC, where I like to ride.
Yeah I'm hoping the SM isn't too bad because I'm too old to run from police and rather not be hassled be it in Ontario or Quebec.

Yep, my boosted Viper was more impressive down low than my tuned WinderThanks guys. Snowbeast I agree apples to apples. I want to hear what combo works together so I can get an accurate opinion. What I am curious is what is the response like at what rpm. In ben's videos they are moving 50 mph and then punch it. Fine for lake racing what's the response at trail riding speeds. A viper with boost is more responsive on bottom end than stock winder. Looking for that snap.

I have max spool 16 stock exhaust, CAI, TS blow off valve and thunder products clutching, sled runs great!! If you are normal trail riding its very smooth, you can tell there is more power because between 40 - 50 MPH you are using very little throttle and sled is 4800-5300 RPM at this type of riding easy on the flipper after 90 miles it took 2/10 of a gallon more that Girlfriend riding a stock SR Viper XTX. plus she only weigh 120 LBS. so fuel milage is good riding easy. when you get aggressive with the throttle it turns into an animal. Riding pretty stupid with a friend with 850 Polaris i let him go ahead that did not last long but while behind him coming out of corners I had to be careful not to run right over him because the acceleration is so much faster than the new polaris. so if you ride a bit aggressive this thing hits hard!!! I have an XTX 141 so on hard pack trail this thing really hooks up and can be a hand full. Thanks guys. Snowbeast I agree apples to apples. You aren't that old yet, I'm 64 and last Friday I had a meeting with the police and mnr. They had me take the the side covers off, looked at it then said start it. No fine, but a long lecture about noise. I have the super quiet muffler. I heard 11 sleds got fined for loud exhaust. I am going to the stock muffler reflash. This is in the North Bay area. I looked up info about sound levels and its a grey area, subject to the opinion of who pulled you over.Yeah I'm hoping the SM isn't too erbad because I'm too old to run from police and rather not be hassled be it in Ontario or Quebec.

Yeah in Ontario if it's not stock its illegal no matter the noise but some might give leeway if it's not that loud.

In Quebec, they can impound your sled a fine can be up to $1,000 Canadian. I too got some lecture....... funny thing my sled was quieter than his stock four stroke sled. I'm under 82db ,their standard according to their legislation, but any change is what they've been pushing....money grab. I'm all for putting an end to the idiot with the loud pipe wailing away at 11pm but most here seem to enjoy thier performance during normal hours and respect the sport. Boy of this activity goes to putzing around at 45mph on an electric vehicle then count me I'm out.
