Blown fuse

I removed the seat and also checked near the front for any shorts. I couldn't find any exposed or punched wires

I actually narrowed it down to the tail light. I unplugged the harness next to the gas tank, and the fuse still blew when i hit the brakes. Then I reconnected it and unplugged the harness from the brake that connects in the steering column where all the other harnesses are. The fuse has not blown, so I figure it is something with the brake light wiring, I am just stuck one what to do next because all the wiring looks fine

You stated the fuse blew when you hit the brakes. Does the fuse blow every time you hit the brakes? If so I'd be looking at the handle bar wiring and brake light switch.
