I have seen a couple boost gage mounting pictures. Can we get a topic going showing everyones setup. (handlebars, custom mounts, purchased mounts, whatever)
Right now my temp gauge takes up the hole in the pod of my rx1.

- None, looking now!
That BPE pod looks like you can put all the needed guages in there, fuel pres, boost, water, bottle press, etc. To bad they dont have one for the Apex's yet?

Here's pictures of the design stages of mounting my gauges for the SC on my '03 RX-1mtn with Fly bars and risers. I still haven't gotten around to making the final design but will mount them in this location for easy hood removal and protection from damage in a roll.

I left one each of the BPE pod and hood scoop for the Apex with MrSled at Haydays. The Apex is slighty different than the RX in that the gauges need to be spaced out from the pod ~1.5" to prevent drilling right through the side of the factory plastic. The Apex pods include 3 CNC machined aluminium spacers to acomodate 2 1/16" gauges. The hood scoop fills the entire space left open from the removal of the factory airbox. I'm likely a little biased, but I think the sled looks better with the scoop than it does stock. We have 60 each of the pods and gauges in stock, and 180 rings. I have pictures of everything, but not on this computer - I'll post some later tonight. The parts I left with Tom were donated to TY to support the site. If you're interested in purchasing one or both of these products, I'd ask you to call Tom first. Tom - I'm going to send you another set of parts, since I think this post probably crosses the line into advertising...

2 more... I should point out that the white mesh behind the scoop is not included with the scoop - it is there to show contrast in the pics. We couldn't decide if it looked better with or without. In any event - $5.00, a glue gun, white paint and some gutter-guard and you can have the same screens.
