A few kits are installed now , i think it would be a good time to share some installation tips , trick etc. I would like to know if anyone is gonna seal off the vacuum lines on the back of the fuel injection with clamps or leave the factory press fit ?If anyone has any questions about the Mcexpress kit I'm about 85 percent done with mine , (expecting the control box tomorrow ).

(P.S. I measured the distance between the turbo outlet to the plenum on the mcexpress turbo ,compared to the bender rear mt turbo it is at least 20 " less on mc express !) less distance means less lag.I also ceramic coated my pipes to the turbo .

I'm betting you won't even worry about lag. My Vector has such minimal lag it isn't even noticeable unless you ride it back to back with a front mount. The throttle response of the Apex is better than anything I have ever ridden which should make it even less noticeable. I like the low underhood temps and no added nose weight, along with the clean install. the fact that they make good hp on pump fuel doesn't hurt either. Good luck, keep us posted.

What head gasket came with the kit?
20 " seems like alot , what's up with that?
Will ceramic contain the heat as good as headerwrap sprayed with moisture repellant sealant?
I'm doing just the turbo Y pipe.

It came with a shim , you have to split the stock headgasket , clean it and spray it with copper spray or aluminum paint ,put the shim in between the stock gasket .The bender system has a charge tube that runs out the side by the chaincase ,up around the brake rotor etc. (lots of extra tubing).I dont know if it's as good as wrapping but I think it should be . I think it's important to ceramic coat the 2 split pipes behind the flex tubes also.
