I put the BOP wedge in at 4300 kms in my 2019 Cross country 9000. I now have 9600 kms and pulled it apart to check. No wear! There was a small sign of spinning at 4300.kms when i installed the wedge but it hasnt gotten any worse and no more wear on my shaft. So I have 5300kms on it, decent test. Bearing was dirty but ok. Changing it anyway.
I have been tuned for the past 5000kms with MS16 and not easy on my stuff.
Props to BOP for this solution!

I'm sure Travis will like to hear this. Why could Yamaha not see this shaft bearing fit is a issue?

Cat chassis, Cat engineers. Yamaha did their job w engine. But, your question is exactly correct - how did the engineers think the design would work and NOT have shaft spinning in bearing?!!!!!
