How do you guys like your boss seat. Are they allot better than a stock 05 seat?

I do not have a boss seat but the guys that have them really like them. I got a good deal on a brand new 05 seat for my 04 but if i wouldn't of got a great deal i would of bought a boss seat. I paid $250.00 from my local dealer.
I can't decide between the Nytro seat or the Boss. How about the dip before the fuel tank with the Boss, do you slide off of the top?

The seat material on my boss seat is relatively sticky. I don't slide all over the seat unless I really want to. Not to mention if you have a tank bag like Ecopter and I do, the hole is filled up by it. BTW here mine with a silver pannel and red BOSS feather logo. And the wife's RMK with red and silver pannels and a mountain logo.

Nope, the dip is no problem. You can't slide that far forward without banging your knees anyway. The Boss is more of a process to install then a Nytro seat would be, but they are SO MUCH BETTER then ANY stock Yammi seat. No comparison.
I see what you mean about the tank bag filling the void, somehow I wind up on my tank with the stock '05 seat, could be my riding style.

Dude, if you can get to the tank cover you got some short legs!

Either that; or he rides like I do sometimes; drag racer style, with my legs back behind me .

No short legs here, I'm 6', 260, 34" inseam. I do ride with my feet back much of the time.

Same size as me and I ride in the tight turns down in the dip like you. I feel I can turn better this way, that, and save on slider wear.
