I think the 04 seat is very decent!! The 05s are WAY thicker and Cheaper by about $100 than a boss seat!!

Thicker does not mean diddly if it does not give you support and I know the Boss seat does. Kind of like a real soft pillow that lasts a week and than is flat in the middle, You know like our bellies :roll:

How do you know what the orice of an 05 seat will be ???

slim, the stock tank is not a part of the seat. They are two separate components.

Powerhaulic, I know the stock tank is not part of the seat. What i wondered was Boss seats makes a seat with a fuel tank under the seat. Wondered if the rx-1 seat had this tank in the seat. Boss calls it a tanker I think.Thanks, Slim

Seeing that there are now 3 different OEM seat heights for the RX-1, can anyone confirm the actual height difference to the 03s? I noticed Boss hasn’t really updated their site, but seem to have different height options for the other OEMs. Also I might be doing a major change for my 03 including a new color scheme. Would also like to know all the color options. Thanks
