It would help but I just throw my bottle in the freezer or snow bank for a half hour and it fills in about 60 seconds.

Yes, laws of physics, will transfer easily if your empty bottle is cold, and your bottle your transferring from is warm. DO not overheat the mother bottle, and do not use flame, as it distorts the aluminum. I use warm water in a sink or bathtub to evenly warm the bottle I am transferring from.
