BOV's for MPI Supercharger

Hey guys, i have a stage 1 MPI kit on my 07 Ape. Currently running the BOV from MPI but have read that some guys run the Vortech setup and also saw that Ulmer makes one? Wondering if anyone has experience with various setups and which one works best.

Why are you changing the BOV?

Why waste the money?? I have the MPI on both my Apex and Nytro Superchargers and I am fine with them. If someone can tell me why I would want to waste the money to go another route and actually tell me what I could gain form doing so I would be interested to hear.

Unless you're producing tremendous amounts of boost/volume then stepping up to a larger outlet bov is not worth it. Sound is really the only other reason.

Vortec here. Not sure it makes much difference. I don't get any better mileage (they are supposed to open sooner than others in vacuum to keep boost out when cruising). I wouldn't worry about it.

thanks a lot for the reply! exact info i was looking for! in theory, that makes sense. i wish the results were better to make it worth while
