Troops, my apologies for not making the Winnipeg TY ride..major work thing came up but will be there next year. Anyway had Denny & the Yooper boys with me for 2 days. Found some pretty decent riding & played in the powder. The boys saw some big-#*$&@ Manitoba deer & moose but missed an Elk. 300 miles in 2 days & no incidents.

They got a low mileage engine for the 800 doo & it worked pretty good.

Nope on the Turbo. Looking for an electrical gremlin. My SRX with 10k miles works just fine tho. A couple of side notes....The boys favourite Manitoba wildlife were the "peelers!!!" Their 1st question was where they could be viewed in their natural habitat. They also were amazed that in 2 days on our trails we saw 8 other sleds!!!!!

Didn't they have a Viper in their group with a seize jack shaft bearing? I thought it went down on them Saturday in Beausejour.

The Viper had a crank issue. He is gonna buy another sled in the US.

Hello All: Yes we had a GREAT time in Manitoba. The 800 Ski-do, blew a rod right out the side of the engine. The 02 Viper seized the crank, center bearing. We were able to buy an engine in Beausejour for the Ski-Do, as for the Viper, no engine avalibale on short notice. He was going to buy a new sled, but decided to wait and order an Attak. Yes the "peelers" were nice, even in Winnipeg. If you go riding with Turk, make sure to mark your bibs, seems he like to ware other peoples bibs. Also he likes to take thier helmet bags. The rest of our trip in Wyoming went with out a problem for us. We did get to see the search and rescue people 1st hand with a freind of ours that got lost, those people do a WONDERFULL job.
A big THANK YOU goes out to srxtwins for doing a great job on planing the TY ride in Beausejour, everyone made us all feel right at home.
And thank you turk for showing us the western part of Manitoba, we all had a great ride. We rode over 1200 miles total.
