Anybody broke this? If so, what is the fix. We are having a great winter, and I hate to think my season is over!!!

If you do some searching, I remember seeing someone fabbing up a brace to last him the rest of the season, and to my memory, it worked!

This type of break has been seen here on the forum a few times, so likely someone with experience will chime in.

Also, some people just end up changing out the bulkhead with a used one, a vender named LANEO likely has one in stock. If your installing, make sure you you have or know someone willing to lend you a pneumatic riveter and a ton of stainless rivets!

How did it happen anyways?

You will have to replace the front right (It looks like the right side) bulk head. It's not too big of a job but it's big enough. I am in the middle of replacing my front left bulk head as well as my mid bulk head on my 06 attack.

Hey Stomper, did you get parts through dealer, or thru one of the online microfische websites. I was looking at the breakdown, and there are quite a few parts involved. My experience with parts from Yamaha is about 2 weeks before they show up. Trip to Canada next Thursday.

You could have it changed out in a couple good nights. Getting one soon enough might be the problem. Call Laneo, he might have one he can overnight or expedite shipping on one.

Second option, tear the plastic down and take it to a fabrication shop to pieces it back up for the time being.

If you were near me I would hook you up with a fix one way or another in time.

Good Luck

Thanks Familyman. Got it tore down tonite, making parts list from online microfish now. Friend of a friend says he can weld the lobe back for the time being. Would have been nice if it broke 5 miles from the truck, and not 70, but hey made it home.

I had the same problem with the left side. I had It welded but It just broke again and bent my a arms again they were not cheap to replace twice . I found a complete used bulkhead for 400 .The right side was cracked were the steering components when through the bulkhead as well. There are used bulkheads out there good luck

I got mine from kijiji.ca here in canada. I got the mid bulkhead and front left for $400. It was way way cheaper that the next cheapest place of $850. I will pm you the link of where I got it. I beleive he still has the right side.

ok

that usually happens when u don't have a angled trailer lip on a tilt trailer or railroad track

Anybody bought parts from this site? They seem to be lowest price around, if I go new vs used.

Hudon's in Barneveld had all the parts, including a new used bulkhead. Gave up on the welding idea. Anybody have any tips to getting the old bulkhead out. I started tonite, and quit due to frustration. Seems like I will have her stripped down to nothing to get the right half out.
