Just doing a inspection after some nice long pulls yesterday. Seen 115 mph with a lot left. I was banging off the limiter yesterday off and on. Through a code sd26 a few times than it goes away. Anyways it ran well pulled hard. It was a lot of fun terrorizing the two ski Doo 800 s that were with me. After inspection something doesn’t look right in my primary. Is my spring broke?

Yea and it is binding plenty also. Is that the stock spring? If so don’t waste your time with another.

Thanks guys. Yes that’s a stock spring with STM Y60 weights. I am running a CAI, aftermarket exhaust, Power commander 5, reverse helix and TP orange spring. 129” studded track. What primary spring do you recommend?

If you were content with stock spring, a comparable one from Yamaha would be the blue/brown/blue.
If you rather go aftermarket, a comparable would be Dalton black/bronze.

I am happy with the stock spring but what may I be missing with a different spring with my set up?

You state you were banging off the rev limiter, usually broken spring lowers rpm, but you were the opposite. You need some weight to get off the limiter once you iron out your spring issue.
