Rebuilds are generally 45-50.00 with no replacement parts which unless the shafts are bent of the chrome is pitting on the shafts your ok. Revavles can be aroung 60.00 not including Hygear which charges a small fortune for there service. Maybe somebody from your area will pipe up for a shock rebuild center. I know nothing about CA other then I cant afford to ride there. lol

Is the sleds skis sitting on dollies? Mine is new with only 160 miles on it and when its on dollies and you push on the back end it wont come back up. I'm pretty sure I read on here that its normal when on dollies.

entireraised did you end up fixing this? my 09 rtx se does the same. It goes right down to the blocks with no rebound unless I pull it up. My dealer did a shock test when they had the skid out in the summer and said it was fine. I'm not going to pull the skid out this late, but still would like to figue it out.

It is probably not the shock, they don't really hold up the sled, mostly the springs. I took mine apart this summer because i had the same issue, the grease has turned into a VERY thick paste, cleaned everything up with de-greasser and re greassed, has shocks revalved since i had them out (but im not sure this helped with this issue) and put the skid back. The difference was night and day. I had my springs on hard at the end of last season and not they are on soft and only droop down less than 2 inches on medium.

Sounds like a job next summer. Can't get it done now since I'm a rookie with this and really don't have time. Hopefully it still rides nice once it gets warmed up through the bumps

No, I've been working as of late. It does seem worse though this year than the last two seasons.
